Victoria, B.C. 'Colonist' - The remains of Mrs. A.J. McLELLAN were borne by the pall bearers down the steps of her residence to the hearse by which they were to be carried to their last resting place at Ross Bay cemetery. The mourners were A.J. McLellan, Mrs. ROSCOE and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alison STRONG, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel GRAY and members of the Gorge Road Methodist Church. The pall bearers were C.W.R. THOMSON, Hon. D.W. HIGGINS, Hon. C.E. POOLEY, Thomas EARLE, M.P., W.F. ARCHIBALD and N. SHAKESPEAR. The deceased was a native of Penobsquis (Kings Co.) N.B. and was the fifth d/o late George A. MORTON of that place. She was in her 56th year.
