d. 1st inst., Edward fourth s/o Edward SMITH of Beech Hill, age 13. His death was caused by a gun accidentally discharging while he was in pursuit of partridges in the woods; the contents lodged in his thigh, mangling it fearfully causing intense pain until pain relieved him about 48 hours after the sad occurence.
