An interesting event transpired at the residence of the bride's father at an early hour Thursday morn. The principles in the affair were Rev. R. OPIE, Methodist Minister at present stationed at New Jerusalem (Queens Co.) and Annie D. BAIRD d/o H.R. BAIRD, druggist. The bridesmaids were Misses Lulu BAIRD and Ida BAIRD; the groomsmen were Sydney SMITH and Isaiah McCOY.
