The Moncton 'Transcript' says: Abram STEEVES, a resident of Steeves Settlement, was summoned as juror of the Supreme Court at Dorchester (West. Co.) last week. On Friday, his boy Charlie STEEVES was suddenly taken ill with inflammation of the lungs and the doctor was called. Mr. Steeves received no word till Monday - then a sudden report came. His wife, aged about 50, for some time with heart disease, had waited on and worried over the boy till Sunday morn. She then had to give up and died the same afternoon. Abram arrived at home Monday night.
