A melancholy accident occurred on Straight Shore, Portland (St. John) yesterday afternoon. A little son of Capt. SUTHERLAND of barque "Maid of Llangallen" was the victim. The lad with his mother arrived in the city yesterday morn. from Halifax via the Intercolonial Railway. The lad was about nine years of age and his name was Andrew David SUTHERLAND.
