On Thursday last, James TONER, father of Charles TONER and John TONER of Fredericton city, was laid to rest in the Hermitage Cemetery. Mr. Toner was born in County Derry, Ireland and came out to this province in 1841. He lived a greater part of the time since at Oromocto (Sunbury Co.) but removed to this city some two years ago where he lived near his sons. He was 71 years of age.
