On Sunday morn. a soldier of the 15th Regt. named John MORRIS was found drowned in the pond at the rear of the new Baptist Meeting House, Carleton (St. John) He was one of the detach -ment stationed at the Round Tower and was absent from roll call Saturday night. When his comrades were going to church on Sunday, they found his remains at the place above named.
