A ten year old s/o Philip RICHARD of St. Mary's (Kent Co.) was drowned Monday afternoon 16th inst. The child when last seen was paddling about in the river on a small raft which he had constructed from deals. On failing to return home parties were sent in search of him but found no trace until the next morning when the body was recovered. As it was clearly a case of accidental drowning no inquest was held.
