Lower Caverhill (York Co.) Jan. 3 - John OLIVER, who has been in failing health for some time past, died Saturday last. He lived to the good old age of 86 years. He was one of the first settlers in this place and the only remaining one of the old inhabitants. He was born in Scotland and came here when but a small boy. He was a member of the Methodist church or the past 18 years. He leaves surviving him one sister, two sons and six daughters, his wife having died some years ago. Rev. J.K. King conducted the funeral services.
