John HARRIGAN, a young man belonging to Carleton (St. John) died Sunday afternoon from an attack of consumption hastened by a severe wetting which he received just a week before. In company with three companions he was rowing across the harbor when the boat was capsized by drifting against the bow of a schooner. All were thrown into the water and when rescued Harrigan was very much exhausted. He was taken to his home on Rodney St. and restoratives appled, but he had become so thoroughly chilled by the icy water that his delicate condition could not stand the shock. He gradually grew weaker and died Sunday. Harrigan was employed as a fireman on the Canadian Pacific.
