d. Middle Simonds, Thursday 7th April, John CHRISTIAN, age 76. Mr. Christian was born in Isle of Man, England on Oct. 29th, 1811. When quite young he professed faith in Christ and united with the Methodist church there. In a few years he came to Saint John, N.B. and united with same church. He moved to Woodstock where he lived for some years. He then moved to Middle Simonds where he lived over forty years. Choosing Rev. King to preach his funeral sermon, he shortly passed away, leaving a widow, one son and three daughters. His funeral took place on Sunday 10th inst.
