James TRAYNOR of Barnesville (Kings Co.) met with an accident Saturday eve. which will probably cost him his life. He was driving in a road-cart when his horse became frightened, ran down Charlotte Street and collided with the delivery wagon of Thomas McCARTHY which was fastened in front of his store. Mr. Traynor was thrown out, striking upn his head, the skull being badly fractured at the base. He was carried insensible into Mr. McCarthy's store from which place Dr. D.E. Berryman ordered his removal to the hospital. He has been unconscious ever since the accident. Yesterday he had to be tied down in bed, so violent did he become in his delerium. The doctors have no hopes of his recovery. He is so badly injured that yesterday blood and brain matter were oozing from his left ear. Mr. Traynor is a relative of Officer GILSON of the police force. At a late hour last night his condition was unchanged. Mr. Gaynor is about 50 years of age.
