The community suffered a severe shock when the news became whispered about that Nathan TREADWELL, one of the oldest residents of town, has been found dead in his bed. On Sunday morn. he appeared in his customary health. He attended service in the Episcopal church as usual and went to bed. He did not appear at his customary hour in the morn. and his daughter went to his room to waken him. When she got to his bedside she was horrified to find that her father was dead. The deceased was a native of St. Andrews. He had been an undertaker for twenty years or more. His family consists of three sons and two daughters, all of whom are grown up. The daughters reside in St. Andrews. John TREADWELL and Mrs. ALGAR are brother and sister of the deceased.
