An inquest was held at Chatham 4th inst. before Dr. Thomson, Coroner, on the body of Thomas VYE, Sr. who was found lying dead in his canoe. The deceased went out to remove his net from the pickets and expired while doing so. It was believed that death was caused by heart disease.
