The 'Eastport Sentinel' says that James WILCOX of Grand Manan was drowned in Friar's Bay on Friday afternoon. He was in a two masted boat which was caught in stays in a squall and filled. A son-in-law of Mr. W. was in the cabin of the boat at the time and was saved.
