"Sackville Borderer" - Sarah d/o Timothy and Ann CHARTERS met her death Saturday eve. A fire had been made in the neighbour's garden that morning for the purpose of burning up stalks &c., but it was supposed to have gone out. The child had just gone to that place when her screams alarmed the neighbours and her clothes were discovered in a blaze. Before it could be extinguished the little sufferer was so burned that death ensued the next day.
