A terrible stabbing affray occurred at Reserve Mines, Saturday eve. about half past 9, says a Glace Bay, N.S. correspondent. Charles McKENZIE, who had a reputation of being a desperate character, along with a number of others was engaged in a free fight when McKenzie drew a knife and began cutting left and right, inflight slight wounds on three or four and fatally wounding Tom ROGERS, the knife piercing his liver. Dr. McKay, who passed a few minutes before was quickly on the scene and succeeded in stopping the flow of blood from the wounded man. He will not likely recover. He is 20 years of age and s/o Widow ROGERS. McKenzie up to this time has not been arrested. He is at home defying the officers to take him.
