An inquest was held at Chatham on 28th ult. on the body of a young man named LAMBERT killed at Black River while breaking a landing of logs. He is supposed to belong to Bathurst. An inquest was held on the body of John HORNE, found dead on the floor of his residence, Chatham the same day. Joseph McNAUGHT hanged himself in his own barn at Penobsquis (Kings Co.) about 6 o'clock Monday morn. Deceased was a farmer about 75 years of age and lived at a place called Pisgah Mountain.
