William H. McCRACKEN and William GOLDEN, two young farmers of Lower French Village (KIngs Co.) had a desperate quarrel over an orphan boy, who had left the farmer on account of ill treatment and had gone to live with the latter. McCracken fought with a pistol and Golden with a scythe. (see original)
