Charlottetown, P.E.I. 'New Era' - On Monday eve. last a boat belonging to I.C. HALL, Esq. was upset at the entrance to Rustico Harbor by a northwest squall and the crew of five men were drowned. The unfortunate men were: Matthew NOWLAN, married, about 45 years of age, late of Charlottetown, but formerly of St. Mary's, Nfld.; Ronald McKENZIE, age 20, s/o Donald McKENZIE, Naufrage, Lot 43; James WELSH, about 19 years s/o late John WELSH, Portage Road, St. Peter's Lot 42; Michael McINTYRE, about 16, from Cable Head; Angus McDONALD s/o Angus McDONALD, Naufrage, about 21. The boat came on shore bottom up but the bodies of the men have not yet been found.
