Sons of Acadia - We have been handed a copy of the Worcester, Mass. 'Daily Spy' in which there is an article with the above heading 'It is an account of the Maritime Provinces Annual Reunion in that city'. Henry TOWNSEND who was the toast master of the eve. is the son of William TOWNSEND of Upper Jolicure (West. Co.) and a brother of Guilford TOWNSEND and George TOWNSEND who still live on the old place. Mrs. W.H. WHEELER mentioned is a sister of Mrs. J.W. GOODWIN of Point de Bute. Mrs. GABLER, mentioned as one of the guests, was formerly Mary FARROW d/o late Mr. Farrow of Botsford Portage. Rev. John PICKLES, D.D. was resident of Sackville for some time.
