From Hong Kong paper - It is with sincere regret we record the death of Capt. W.H. BELL, senior pilot in the service of the Messageries Maritimes between this port and Shanghai. He died at the latter port, after an illness extending over a few weeks, and his loss will doubtlessly be felt more keenly there than in this colony. In Shanghai, his Masonic brothers tendered brotherly esteem by giving him a Masonic funeral at which an unusually large number of craftsmen attended.
