On Saturday afternoon, about 4 o'clock, a female patient in the Provincial Lunatic Asylum committed suicide by suspension and strangulation. Her name was Mary Ann WHITE or Mary Ann LEBLANC. She belonged to Restigouche Co., age 53 and was admitted to the Asylum on 13th April 1886. (see original)
