Albert LOCKHART, son of a Moncton lady, was among the passengers on the ill-fated "Elbe". His mother was formerly Miss Isabelle RITCHIE, sister of Thomas D. RITCHIE of Moncton. She married Rev. W.E. LOCKHART, pastor of the Baptist Church at Camillas, New York, who died while on a vacation in Moncton in 1873. Mrs. Lockhart then married Rev. A.W. CADY of Boonville, New York and her son was on his way home from Heidelberg, Germany where he had taken a medical course. Young Lockhart's body has been landed at Lowestoft by a ishing smack.
