Holiday issue of the 'Gazette' published in Missoula, Montana contains the following: C.H. McLEOD, manager of the Missoula Mercantile Co. is a native of New Brunswick arriving here for the first timne on Feb. 14, 1850 ... H.C. KEITH, treasurer, uttered his first notes on the bleak coast of New Brunswick one cold morn. in January about a quarter a century ago. He received a liberal education there. ... John M. KEITH gave first exhibition of his lung power in the happy land of New Canaan, Canada, June 5, 1857. John dropped down on the city near Hell Gate in the month of October 1880. He was cashier of the M.M. Co. for several years. He was elevated to the position of Cashier of the First National Bank organized in 1873. (see original)
