John McKILLOP, a prospector, was drowned in the Lardeau river, Friday says the Vancouver, B.C. 'World', May 30th. He and a companion named Robert ELLIOTT got caught in a log jam and their boat was capsized. Elliott was rescued from the logs after several hours exertion. McKillop was a native of Campbellton (Rest. Co.)
