George STEPHENS, who died at Douglastown last Saturday night, had been a Son of Temperance for 48 years. The Sons of Temperance attended his funeral Tuesday in full regalia. The Sunday School children attended it also, walking four abreast, deceased having been for many years a teacher in school. Revs. McCoy, Watson and Johnstone were present. His regalia as Deputy Grand Worthy Patriarch of the Sons of Temperance was placed on his coffin. Mr. Stephens was an elder of St. Mark's church. His brother, though 79 years of age, came from Westmorland to see him before he died and his sister, Miss Mary STEPHENS, came from Massachusetts.
