Many of our older citizens will remember Henry EAGLES, a well known printer of a quarter of a century ago. He and Thos. SAMPSON also of this city, have for many years resided in Norwich, Connecticut. The 'Daily Record' of that city contains the following: William H. EAGLES, one of the veteran printers of this city, has been seriously ill for several weeks past at his home on Mechanic Street. Last eve. he was reported to be more comfortable than he had been for a number of days past. His sister, Mrs. John EDWARDS, arrived here from her home in Saint John, N.B. last Saturday night and will remain with her brother this week. Mrs. RICH of Brooklyn, N.Y., mother of Mrs. EAGLES, is also at the home of the sick man and is doing what she can to assist the family.
