The funeral of Capt. John ALLEN took place Thursday afternoon. The chief mourners were Chief Justice ALLEN, father of the deceased, Richard ESTEY, father of Mrs. ALLEN, the four brothers of the deceased, Col. DRURY, R.A. ESTEY, E.E. FAIR, David HATT, W.F. FOWLER and son, Messrs. DELANCY and Brunswick ALLEN of Kingsclear, R.B. HUMPHREY and Capt. AKERLEY of Union Line Steamers. At the grave services were conducted by Rev. G.G. Roberts and Rev. F.D. Alexander.
