James ELLIOTT, about 24 years old, has been missing since Saturday night and is supposed to have been drowned. Elliott, who is better known as 'Spec', was in the employ of Messrs. Tapley Bros., as watchman when their boats were lying at the Indiantown wharves and before going out was paid his weekly wages by Gaspard TAPLEY. At this time he was somewhat under the influence of liquor. The missing man is a son of Thomas ELLIOTT of Marble Cove, Indiantown (St. John) He was unmarried.
