An inquest was held before Joseph C. Harper, Esq., at Bayfield (West. Co.) on 2nd inst. on the body of a new born child, found the day previous under the saw mill of Stephen PEACOCK. Verdict of Jury - That the child came to its death by injuries to its head and other parts of its body by some person or persons unknown, and they believe one Margaret BURNS to be the mother. She was arrested and examined before John TRENHOLM and William DUNCAN, Esqs. She is too ill too be removed at present. - Sackville 'Borderer'
