It is with deep regret that the early death is recorded of one whose bright and genial disposition gained for him many friends. Horace Elmer CHRISTIE of Boston, who died Sunday, April 28th, at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He passed away after a severe illness of six weeks. Deceased had been in the police force division 7, Boston for the past two years. He was a member of Howard Lodge I.O.O.F. of Charlestown and of the Camp Canton and Knights of the Order. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the residence of his aunt, Mrs. R.C. CHRISTIE, 159 Glen Street, Somerville. The first services were conducted by Rev. R.L. Green. The remains were taken for burial in Oak Hill (Charlotte Co.) N.B., Mr. Christie's former home, and were accompanied by his brother, Alvin B. CHRISTIE, who was with him during the latter part of his illness, and his cousin, Miss Jennie CHRISTIE of Somerville.
