Amherst, N.S., Jan. 24 - Heading the funeral procession of the late James K. HOWARD to the grave were 80 of his brother Oddfellows of Ivy Lodge No. 35 I.O.O.F. and members of the Baptist Sunday school. The pall bearers were T.S. ROGERS, John CURRIE, Clifford MARTIN, Wm HARDING, Charles BULMER, C.C. BLACK, W.H. FOWLER and Fred CHRISTIE. Rev. D.A. Steele, assisted by Revs. J.H. McDonald and D. McGregor, conducted the ceremony at the grave. The Oddfellow's burial ceremony was performed.
