Coroner Earle and jury held an inquest yesterday afternoon on the body of Margaret RYAN, who died in the county jail about 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday night. She was one of the oldest vagrants known to police and had spent most of her time for the last 20 years either in the Alms House, Penitentiary or jail. The cause of death is thought to be old age accelerated by disease of the heart. She was upwards of 70 years of age. (see original)
