m. Little Ridge, St. James (Charlotte Co.) 23rd ult., Janet CAMPBELL widow of Robert CAMPBELL, age 98. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Sutherlandshire, Scotland and left behind 4 sons, 2 daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Acquainted with the Gaelic language only, she loved to repeat in the doctrinal statements of the Westminster Catechisms which had been stored up in her mind from 80 to 90 years and one of the latest efforts was to repeat to an Elder visiting her the whole of the 116th Psalm in the tongue of her childhood.
