As William WHITLOCK, Esq. was sitting at his office desk in St. Andrews writing on Monday eve. about 8 o'clock, he suddenly expired. The cause of his death is supposed to have been heart disease; age 78, unmarried. Mr. W. was a native of St. John, but resided 60 years of his life in St. Andrews, 50 of which were devoted to active business pursuits. He held the Commission of Peace for 30 years and was Judge of the Court of Common Pleas until the abolition of that Court.
