John McNAUGHTON reached the city yesterday by the western train from Moosehead Lake, where he was recently injured while working in the lumber woods. His spine is badly injured. While felling a tree it sprung back after striking a stump in its fall and struck him him on the back. He is on his way back to Black River (North. Co.). His receovery is doubtful.
