A lad named Patrick KENNEDY was struck near the heart by a bolt from the lathing machine in Titus mill at St. Martins (St. John) Friday and such injuries were inflicted that he died almost instantly. Kennedy was 16 years of age and resided with his father and mother about three miles from St. Martins village.
