d. (St. John) city, Tuesday 12th inst., Sarah Ann HICKS w/o Deacon Thomas HICKS, age 70 years 10 mos., left husband, two sons. She made a public profession of reliogion 34 years ago and was baptized by Rev. D. Crandall into the fellowship of the Norton Church (Kings Co.). About five years later she removed to the city and at a later period connected herself with the Brussell St. Baptist Church in which membership she remained until the organization of the Temple Church when she transferred to the latter body. Her remains were conveyed to Norton for interment and funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.P. Everett in the Chapel at Norton.
