A sad drowning accident occurred at Case Settlement, Springfield (Kings Co.) on 19th Feb. A little boy, age 7, s/o Isaac FOLKINS and Sarah FOLKINS was the victim. The little fellow was in the act of drawing water from a spring, around which the ice had formed, when he fell in head first. He was dead before he could be rescued.
