Citizens generally will remember the mysterious disapperance of Herbert W. MOORE about three years ago. Mr. Moore was a barrister in this city and was very well known. He disappeared and no trace of him has since been found, though search has been made by his family and by societies of which he was a member. The family were led to believe that Mr. Moore was dead, but have decided that he must be otherwise he would have been heard from. The have applied to the Foresters of which order he was a member for $3,000 of life insurance carried in that order. It is understood that the Foresters have asked for proof of Mr. Moore's death, and in the absence of any have declined for the present to pay the insurance.
