Capt. Daniel O'NEIL was in command of schr. "Anna C. Maguire" when she was wrecked on the cape some time ago. He was then bringing his family here from Pictou, N.S. He has lived in Portland, Maine ever since, part of the time being in command of a vessel for the same parties that owned the "Maguire". Of late the captain's mind has been disordered and he has disturbed several religious meetings by attempting to take possession of the platform and address the congregation. He was taken to the alms house several days ago and is now violently insane. - Portland 'Advertiser'
