The public will learn with regret of the death of Alex. JARDINE, Esq., senior member of firm Jardine & Co. He had been out driving on Wednesday in apparently good health and on his return was taken with chills, and congestion of the lungs immediately set in and he died at 9 o'clock yesterday morn. Mr. Jardine, age 64, was a native of Ayrshire, Scotland. He has been identified with the business of (St. John) city for upwards of 40 years.
