Amherst, N.S., Dec. 15 - The death of Joseph DOYLE, farmer. of Amherst Head, took place at his residence Tuesday eve., the cause of his death being inflammation. Deceased was about 75 years of age and was only taken sick on Saturday last. He was married twice, his second wife surviving him. He was the father of W.S. DOYLE and father-in-law of David JACKSON of Jackson & Doyle saw mills at Amherst Head.
