There passed peacefully to her rest Saturday last at her residence 136 Orange St., Jane PAUL widow of Matthew PAUL, age 85 years. Mrs. Paul was blind for the last 17 years and felt the loss of her husband four years ago keenly, but had managed to keep a cheerful disposition through all her trouble. Mrs. Paul leaves four sons: William PAUL, who is in California; John T. PAUL in Waltham, Mass.; and James A. PAUL and Enoch W. PAUL of St. John city. The funeral will take place from her residence Tuesday 2:30 p.m.
