From the 'Advance' - On Saturday morn., Samuel R. JARDINE of Napan, drove to town and stopping in front of Roger FLANAGAN's store, got out of his waggon, carried some butter in and laid it on the counter. Mr. Flanagan, who knew that Mr. Jardine had been subject to heart disease, remarked to him that he looked very well. The old gentleman replied there was something wrong yet, and almost as he spoke, he clutched the counter for support. He was caught by Mr. Flanagan's brother-in-law and supported by Mr. Flanagan himself brought a chair in which Mr. Jardine was hardly seated when life had passed away. Mr. Jardine was unmarried.
