A sad drowning accident occurred at Randolph last eve. About 7 o'clock a number of boys, among them Fred MELANSON, age about 12 years, s/o Charles MELANSON went in bathing in a pond at Randolph & Baker's mill. In some way the lad got in difficulty and was drowned before assistance could reach him. The body was in the water about twenty minutes before being recovered. Mr. Melanson is an employee of the mill.
