Mortimer Linwood DAY and James TAYLOR of St. John were on Monday respectively presented with an handsome bronze medal and a parchment diploma of the Royal Humane Society of Canada for their heroism in saving the lives of Walter BAGNELL and Alexander GRAHAM, two boys who coasted over a wharf at Indiantown (St. John) on the eve. 24th Jan. last. Mayor Robertson made the presentation.
