Charles BAXTER s/o John BAXTER, Digby, N.S. returned home a day or two since from a Boston hospita; where for the last four years he has been under medical treatment. Baxter is suffering from cancer and came home to die having been pronounced incurable. Several years ago when a child, Baxter was scratched by a companion near the right eye. The place soon healed leaving no mark, but years later the scratch revived terminating as above mentioned.
