The funeral of George M. THOMPSON took place from his late residence 159 Pitt street, Tuesday 2:30 o'clock. The member of L.O.L. No. 24 and members of other sister lodges attended in a body. At the house and grave services were conducted by Rev. Rainnie and Rev. Wightman. The band of the 62nd Fusiliers played the Death March. The pall bearers were R.J. ARMSTRONG, R.A.C. BROWN, William SULLIVAN, William GRAHAM, Charles R. McKEE and W. WHITE.
